Some locations can sometimes suffer degraded images from a combination of low sun and contamination on the window, often if east or west facing.  This optional anti-glare window hood helps reduce this effect by keeping low sun away from the camera window.

To install simply use the included cleaning swab to clean the outside face of the unit, remove backing paper from the 3M adhesive strips, and press the shield firmly into the top of the window aperture.
