• Unit Relocation: Basic

Roadside Units are intended to be permanent installations, but we recognise that a change of circumstances (such as road layout) may make it desirable to move the unit.  This, unfortunately, involves some administration efforts that we need to charge for.

Basic fee for relocation of a Roadside Unit to cover the back-office services required.  Includes;

  • Preservation of previous location information
  • Configuration of new location parameters, testing, & confirmation
  • Police access, reports, and reporting definition
  • Assignment of new location user access rights
  • Enabling and follow-up

Previously this work was billed by the time taken but is now this fixed amount per unit moved, to cover the vast majority of cases.  Any unusual additional work may need to be charged separately but we'll let you know of this beforehand. 

Process:

  • Please order this before you move your unit and tell us the date you expect to move the unit.  We'll prepare your unit for the move. 
  • You must select the "Deactivate/Move" option in the locations settings before removing the existing installation.  Do this before the proposed date. This makes the unit safe to move.
  • Move your unit to its new location.
  • Simply email us to tell us it's new location details. 
  • We'll then start the re-configuration process as above.
